Negra Fortuna
Muséo de la Ciudad de Querétaro
Curator Gabriél Hörner
June 7 - Sept 1, 2019

‘Negra Fortuna’ takes extraction and energy as the material and metaphorical starting points for three tandem solo exhibitions by Miruna Dragan, Jason de Haan, and Warren McLachlan of the collective Corbin Union. Reflecting on fortune, fate, abuse, ruin, regeneration, and resistance, these tandem exhibitions were produced over four weeks in residence at the Museum, realizing site-responsive projects that echo, bleed and fade between Querétaro and Corbin; creating an alter-world for the excavation of obscured pasts.

works by Dragan:
a. A Cloud of Forgetting (Una nube del olvido)
b. In the Sage Telestic Waters, I See… (En la sabia agua teléstica, yo veo…)
c. Felix Coeli Porta (joyful portal to the heavens)
